Contact

Email me. I read everything.

There's no form here on purpose — a form would just email me anyway, and this way you keep a copy of what you sent.

The best and fastest way to reach me, for script requests, photography bookings and everything else.

Instagram is where the newest work goes up first. DMs work, but email gets a proper answer.

What to tell me

Five lines and I can give you a real answer.

You don't need a brief document. You need these:

  1. What it is

A short film, a campaign, a vertical series, a pilot you want notes on. One sentence.

  2. When

Shoot dates or a delivery date, even approximate. I teach on weekdays, so timing matters for scheduling.

  3. Where

Los Angeles, elsewhere in California, or further. I travel; travel is quoted separately.

  4. What the budget looks like

A range is fine. "We don't know yet" is fine. Silence is the only unhelpful answer, because then neither of us can tell if this is worth a call.

  5. What you need out the other end

Number of finals, formats, what they're used for. For script work: format, page count and what stage the draft is at.

If you're an agent, manager or producer

Just say "send me X" and I'll send it. Four finished specs: IMPRESSIONS (feature), AFTER DEATH (hour anthology), HORNLINE (half-hour comedy) and LIKE TEARS IN THE RAIN (feature). Samples of all four are already linked on the writing page.

Availability

I teach Digital Photography and art at St. Paul High School in Los Angeles, so weekday daytime needs notice. Evenings, weekends and school holidays are open, and I travel — three seasons of national dance competition touring say that's workable.

Placeholder — I haven't published a response time, so I'm not going to promise one here. In practice, email gets answered.

Based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from Dallas, Texas. Available for travel, quoted separately.

That's the whole site.

If you got this far you probably have something in mind. Tell me what it is — I'd rather hear a half-formed idea early than a finished brief too late.
